It's the time of the year again! For those who are new to this, ACES, which is part of the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), is one of the most anticipated annual clean energy event in Singapore that serves as a platform for industry stakeholders to gather, discuss and showcase latest clean energy technology trends, financing tools, and policy guidelines which shape and bolster sustainability efforts in Singapore and the region.
Unlike previous years, ACES 2020 will take place through online and offline platforms in consideration of safety measures due to the on-going global pandemic. This however does not stop us from sharing exciting updates that we have in store, on how Sunseap will chart the course in propelling Singapore’s sustainability efforts.
Renewable Energy in COVID-19's context
"In the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity." – Albert Einstein
During the Clean Energy Leaders Dialogue, CEO and Executive Director of Sunseap Group, Mr. Frank Phuan, will share on Sunseap's journey in grappling with challenges posed by COVID-19, and how new renewable energy opportunities can actually be capitalized, in a world reeling from the effects of COVID-19. Stay tuned to Mr. Phuan's talk that will happen on the first day of the event, on the 27th of October 2020 from 9:45 AM till 10 AM.
Sunseap's Floating PV Solution
A key feature that you can look forward to, would be on Sunseap's Floating Solar PV system at Woodlands Waterfront Park, along the Straits of Johor. Albeit having faced setbacks such as manpower crunches due to the circuit breaker imposed in Singapore, we are heartened to share the progress that has been made, the challenges faced, and more importantly, the takeaways that have been realized. Hear directly from the Project Lead, Mr. Tan Ying Te, as he shares his thoughts on the experience so far, during the International Floating Solar Symposium segment that will occur on the 28th of October 2020.
Charge+, the latest addition to Sunseap's suite of solutions
The demand of electrical vehicles (EV) is expected to surge within the next decade, in response to increased global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and increase reliance on cleaner energy and Charge+’s aims to hasten the uptake of EVs in Singapore through the strategic mass deployment of our ultra slim charging points. This is strategically aligned with plans laid out during Singapore's 2020 Budget for the push towards electric vehicles, and charging points by Deputy Prime Minister, Heng Swee Keat. Look forward to the panel discussion on Mass Electrification and the Big Switch Strategy, which Mr. Goh Chee Kiong is a part of, on the 27th of October 2020 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM.
Sunseap's Green Mark Consultancy
Apart from solar, Sunseap's suite of solutions will also feature consultancy services for BCA's Green Mark Scheme. In this solution segment, look forward to the feature on Sunseap's Green Roof solutions on our digital booth which will showcase how we have transformed the outlook and improved aesthetics of an unused space, and greenified a building.
Outside of Singapore, it is worth mentioning that we have seen much action in our Taiwan business in the past year, having recently commissioned a carport project in Miaoli, for Qiwen Elementary School. Watch out for our special Sunseap Taiwan feature which will showcase our services and project portfolio thus far!
We hope you enjoy this mini preview of what is to come, during ACES 2020. See you then. 😀
