We use state-of-the-art grid-connected SUNstring® inverters. This means that the solar generators are connected as strings of modules, which are directly connected to the inverter. All SUNstring® inverters can be equipped with a new SUNtouch® display, so that operation data can be displayed on-site. To maximize its efficiency, the inverter is usually placed in a cool and dry place. All safety components are integrated in the inverter.

Due to the string technology, less installation material is needed, no large scale DC-wiring is necessary, so ensuing lower installation costs. The innovative SUN MultiSlave® (SMS) concept ensures high yields, especially for middle large systems onwards, as each single inverter can feed power into the public grid at maximal efficiency. Up to ten SUNstring® inverters may be strung together to make a MultiSlave® system. The supplied software enables the appliances to communicate with each other. The modular concept makes it possible to build systems in nearly any size. The extension of an older system is also no longer a problem.

Data logging system SUNlog® light
Our data logging system, SUNlog® light, may be used for all inverters on offer, to evaluate and visualize the inverter data. With this system it is possible to represent the data on a PC in the form of monthly and/or yearly curves. To exhibit the data to the public, a large display board or a moving message display may be connected.

Another option of our product range is SUNvision®-TV. With this appliance you can display the operation data, gathered by the inverter, with ease and economically on any standard TV.

SUNSET’S novel SUN MultiSlave® concept
From now on all our inverters from the SUNstring® series can be equipped with our new SUN Multi-Slave® system. The annual yield of systems, with more than two inverters, can be increased by up to 5 % by operating the connected inverters in a SUN MultiSlave® module.

Our SUN MultiSlave® concept ensures highest possible yields, with each inverter feeding power into the grid at optimum efficiency. Up to ten SUNstring® inverters (one master and nine slaves) can work together using our SUN MultiSlave® system. The system ensures, by coordinating the operation of the inverters over data lines and with special software, that each and every inverter is put to use equally.

In our SUN MultiSlave® concept, DC terminals (plus and minus poles separately) from every inverter in the system are connected together. The inverters, which are equipped with appropriate interfaces, have to be connected with separate data lines, so that they can communicate with one another. Up to ten SUNstring® inverters (one master and nine slaves) may be connected together in our SUN MultiSlave® concept.

The inverters can be connected, in the easiest case, by using the free DC terminal of the SUNstring® inverters. We have an extra SUN MultiSlave® cable set on offer, with corresponding adapters and connection cables, in case several strings have to be connected to one SUNstring® inverter.

APPLICATION

Make your own Solar TV programme. Relax on your sofa and observe the performance of your solar power system online on your own TV screen.

Simply connect a SUNvision®-TV box to an aerial, a satellite receiver, or cable system at one side, and to your TV on the other side. Alternatively the SUNvision®-TV box can be connected to your TV via the AV terminal. A cable connects the inverter to the SUNvision® TV box, no further connections are necessary.

The displayed information may be freely configured with the supplied software using a personal computer. Our SUNvision® TV can be used for all inverters including Sunny Boy.
